MIL-DTL-24643/49 (LSTNW, LSTNWA)
MIL-DTL-24643/49 (LSTNW, LSTNWA)The M24643/49 cable is a low-smoke, zero-halogen shipboard cable. It is suitable for non-watertight, non-flexing services. This Mil-Spec cable features three stranded bare copper conductors, Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, and an LSZH cross-linked Polyolefin (XLPO) jacket. An armored version is also available. This cable is ideal for use in shipboard combat systems, interior communications, and lighting and power applications that do not exceed 1000V. However, this cable shouldn't be used where a watertight deck or bulkhead below flooding water level II (FWL-II) is penetrated. The Mil-DTL-24643 Mil-Spec covers cables suitable for use in shipboard, communications, instrumentation, and electronic applications.
