This is UL1423 wire is high temperature resistant and superior mechanical properties used to make solder-less connections of wires to terminals. UL1423 wire exhibits excellent high dielectric strength and great mechanical properties over a generous range of temperatures. The PVDF insulation of UL1423 wire has better cut-through resistance than PVC, as well as resistance to a variety of chemicals including most inorganic acids, bases, alcohols, halogenated solvents, organic acids, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons. UL1423 wire wrap is also used for wiring back panels, power supply, and test fixtures for the printed circuit board market. UL1423 wire wrap is a basic product suitable for computer and business machine applications. However, it may only be used as wiring in the back panel areas of electronics, where it will not be subjected to mechanical damage or movement.
