Our XLP/PVC Tray Cables feature cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation and a PVC jacket that provide superior corrosion resistance and extended use in high demand applications. These tray cables are available in a multitude of constructions, including multi-conductor, multi-pair, and grounded. These products are designed for use in conduit, cable tray, or direct burial applications. They are ideal for a wide range of applications such as control, power lighting, telemetering, industrial, and utility.
Allied Wire and Cable's XLP/PVC tray cable has a voltage rating of 600V and a maximum temperature of +90°C in wet or dry environments. These cables provide excellent sunlight, weather, abrasion, and chemical resistance. They are available unshielded or with an aluminum/polyester foil shield. Our XLP/PVC tray cable features an oil-resistant or flame-resistant PVC jacket that burns to ash and produces limited thermoplastic drip. These tray cables feature Class B stranded bare copper conductors, and are available with Type XHHW-2 conductors.
If you are looking for a tray cable that meets certain federal specifications, our XLP/PVC Cable is manufactured to meet UL 1277 Type TC, UL 1581, and UL 1685 ratings. It also passes the IEEE 383 Flame test (70,000 btu) and has approval for Class 1 Division 2 hazardous location per NEC Article 501 (TC).
