UL 5359
UL 5359 wire is a mica reinforced hook-up wire with fiberglass braid insulation and a silicone finish. This wire has excellent thermal and flame resistance, good chemical resistance, and produces minimal smoke when exposed to flames. UL 5359 wire is ideal for electric heaters, equipment wiring in iron mills, steel mills, glass plants, and cement kilns. It is also often used for the internal wiring of domestic and commercial ovens as well as cooking appliances.
