THHN Wire – High-Heat Nylon Jacketed Copper Building Wire

THHN (Thermoplastic High Heat-Resistant Nylon-coated) wire is a general-purpose copper building wire designed for use in both dry and wet environments. It features a PVC insulation and a durable nylon jacket, offering excellent resistance to heat, abrasion, and moisture. THHN is rated for use up to 90°C in dry locations and 75°C in wet conditions, making it ideal for conduit and raceway installations in commercial, industrial, and residential applications.

This 600V wire is constructed with a single pure copper conductor and must be properly derated when used in high ambient temperatures or when multiple wires are bundled together. THHN cables meet the UL 83 and UL 1063 safety standards, and CSA approval is available upon request. Select versions also comply with RoHS directives for hazardous substance restrictions in global applications.
