UL 10086
UL 10086 wire is insulated with an extruded modified copolymer of ETFE (Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene). It is an ideal replacement for older wire constructions with silicone rubber insulation and treated glass braid. This wire features improved handling and performance characteristics, thinner size, and lighter weight than identically-rated silicone rubber constructions. UL 10086 wire is also suitable for use as internal wiring in appliances such as ovens, auto headlamps, mercury switches, computers, motor leads, winding wires, and medical applications. There is no risk of releasing glass fibers during stripping or in use. UL 10086 wire is ideal for food processing, ultra-clean operations, and internal wiring of electrical equipment and UL classified appliance wire service up to 200°C.
