XLPE/PVC Instrumentation Cable Construction:
- Conductor: 18 AWG through 16 AWG bare, annealed copper per ASTM B3, Class B stranding per ASTM B8
- Insulation: Flame retardant Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE)
- Color-coded per ICEA Method 1: Pairs: Black and White
- Shield: Individual and overall shielded pairs
- Individual pairs are 100% shielded with Flexfoil aluminum/polyester in contact with stranded tinned copper drain wire
- Overall shield: aluminum/polyester in contact with stranded tinned copper drain wire
- Jacket: Flame retardant and sunlight-resistant Polyvinylchloride (PVC) or Arctic-Grade PVC
