M915/8 (DSS, TSS, FSS, 7SS) Cable
The M915/8 cable is a multi-conductor shipboard cable suitable for watertight and non-flexing service. This Mil-Spec cable is constructed of bare copper conductors, rubber insulation, and a neoprene jacket. It also features an overall braided tinned copper shield and a polychloroprene sheath. This cable meets different Navy Specs depending on its conductor counts. It is submersible, suitable for use in naval sonar and hydrophone applications, and has a voltage rating of 600V.
