BRC-16-4 Brake Cable
Our BRC-16-4 is a 16 gauge 4 conductor brake cable that is commonly used in emergency brake systems. It is used to connect the pedal or handle to the brakes. When the brakes are used, this cable will tighten, meaning that it must be resistant to deterioration with continued use. Our 16 gauge 4 conductor brake contains four 19/.0112 stranded bare copper conductors, which are laid flat inside the jacket in order to help with flexibility. Our BRC-16-4 is also resistant to heat and is rated for a maximum temperature of 105°C. This is due to its PVC jacket and insulation, which provide great protection to the cable. Our 16 gauge 4 conductor brake cable is flexible, protected from high heat, and resistant to corrosion as it ages. Therefore, our brake cable will last, ensuring well-functioning emergency brakes and the safety of our customers.
