DLO-646.4 - 646.4 Circular Mil Diesel Locomotive Cable
Our DLO-646.4 cable is part of our Power Cable and Portable Cord line. The DLO-646.4 cable is constructed of stranded tinned copper conductors, EPDM insulation, and a black CPE jacket. This durable cable has a maximum temperature of +90°C and is rated at 2000V. This cable's jacket is rated for continuous wet/dry exposure and resists oils, acids, alkalies, heat, and flame. This DLO cable is approved for use in diesel-electric locomotives, oil and gas drilling rigs, and more. It is also RoHS Compliant.
Our DLO 646.4 Cable has tremendous resistance to impacts and abrasion, and can also resist sunlight, alkalies, oil, heat, and fire. The thermoset insulation provides excellent flexibility and abrasion resistance. The flexible stranded tinned copper conductor also improves this cable's length of life. We carry diesel locomotive cable from 14 AWG to 1111 MCM. Since DLO Cable is used for many applications besides diesel-electric locomotives, it is often compared to Welding Cable. You can learn more about their differences here.
