This October, Allied Wire & Cable will be going pink in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation. We will be switching to a sturdy, vibrant pink reel, which we’ve nicknamed “Betty”, that is three times sturdier than its traditionally colored counterpart and stands out among the rest. It will replace one of the most popular and commonly used sizes: 12x8x5 inches.

Allied Wire, a division of Genuine Cable Group, faced a challenge in meeting a specific customer demand for small retail quantities of wire, prompting a search for a solution beyond their usual scope. Recognizing the potential in Beyond Vision, a pioneering organization dedicated to providing meaningful employment opportunities for the visually impaired, Robb Birmingham, Director of Branch Operations at our Pewaukee, WI and Grapvine, TX locations, initiated a transformative partnership. Through collaboration with Beyond Vision, we optimized processes, improved efficiency, and exceeded customer expectations.
